It is now time to apply for the Hugh O'Bryan Youth Leadership Seminar for Summer of 2022. This is a two day leadership seminar for high school sophomores who will be juniors next year. In order to apply, please write an essay of 250 words or less on "WHY YOU SHOULD REPRESENT MAYFIELD HIGH SCHOOL in the 2022 HOBY Program.

All essays are due to Mrs. Henderson on or before 8 am on October 18th.

FAFSA opens on Friday, October 1. Remember to get your username and password for both the student and one parent BEFORE then. Log on to fsaid.ed.gov to get your username and passwords. THEN on OCT 1 log in to fafsa.ed.gov and complete your 22-23 FAFSA.

October 1 is also our MHS deadline to apply to colleges, to help keep the college application and scholarship process running smoothly.

College scholarship applications are now available on your college websites. DON'T miss those deadlines.

Due to recent rise in COVID the SBDM meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th will be virtual.

If you can't find your teachers name on the list they will let you know what you will need the first day of school. Pencil, paper and Chromebook is needed for all classes.

Volleyball tryouts will be held on the afternoon of August 24th. Please fill out the google form emailed to your student account if you are interested in trying out or contact Coach Isbell at [email protected] with questions. You must have an up-to-date physical on the KHSAA form to try out.

MHS Students taking Dual Credit classes at WKCTC and MSU, please check your email. Classes will begin August 17th. You must login to your class on August 17th to take your syllabus quiz or you will be dropped from your class. Try to login now so you will know how to do it correctly. The email from Mrs. Henderson shows you setup login directions. Contact Mrs. Henderson with any questions.

Attention CCR Seniors: Paint your parking spot is scheduled for Friday July 31 at MHS. If we have bad weather, we will have to move the date. Please make sure to check your email throughout the day. Thanks Mr. Edwards
